General Hospital’s Jason Cook (Dr. Matt Hunter) will be appearing in Smeaton, Saskatchewan, Canada this weekend.
The actor will be on hand for the Country for Kids fundraising event. It is being held to benefit the Smeaton Independent School. Country for Kids will be hosted by country music hall of fame member Ralph Emery and feature performances by Julian Austin, Lorrie Church, Bobby Curtola, Curtis and Marty Grambo, Cathy-Anne McClintock, Deborah Lauren, Codie Prevost, and Little Miss Higgins. This week, Victor issues an ultimatum, but to whom? He is made a fool once more when Adam dupes him. Mumbles isn’t the only one Adam fools. He also sets up psychotic Mary Jane to make it appear as though it’s been her harassing Ashley all along. This causes Mumbles to cancel Adam’s transfer out of the house. Meanwhile, J.T. and Victoria face off about Colleen baring her breasts ala “Girls Behaving Badly.”
There’s more conflict on the way as Daniel is arrested, thanks to sexy, dastardly Deacon, who wants Amber for himself. Daniel vows revenge on whoever it is who is setting him up.
Claudia may have finally found a way to prove that she really does belong in Sonny’s life. He feels so bad about the way he treated the mother of his latest heir that he sticks by her side at the hospital. Robin and Patrick tell them that Claudia’s suffering from a brain injury. Although this could be treated with medication, it would likely result in a miscarriage. As she ponders her next move, Michael confesses to his sister that he thinks he caused Claudia’s accident. Actor, magician and man of many talents, Kevin Spirtas is returning to Salem.
Spirtas will be re-joining the cast and reprising his old role as Dr. Craig Wesley. The return will be brief, but it comes just when the town could use another handsome doctor around. He originally played Dr. Wesley from 1999 to 2003.

All of her unusual behavior recently has only been adding fuel to the fire, but her ability to think fast and cover her life in yet another layer of lies is becoming impossible. Since leaving Salem in 2005, Winter has been a busy man, playing on such Primetime series as “Wildfire” and “Brother & Sisters.” It’s his work on the big screen which has been getting him more notice though. The actress appeared in the feature, “Why Men Go Gay in L.A.,” and has been seen in episode of TV series such as “How I Met Your Mother” and “Entourage.” She will be showing off more of her comedic talents later this year when she makes an appearance in the comedy, “You, Only Better” and the comedy/horror film, “Blood Shot.”
