General Hospital’s Maurice Benard in Confession. (Updated)

General Hospital viewers are used to seeing Maurice Benard as mobster Sonny Corinthos, but they’ll be getting the chance to see him in a different role.

After playing Port Charles’ mob kingpin since 1993, he’ll be donning a new persona when he begins shooting an independent film this month called “Confession.” It tells the story of a man seeking revenge for the death of his sister.
