Things are getting a little draggy in Genoa City. Fans are hoping Patty’s out this week. That’s my hope as well. The storylines are done and done to death. This week, we can expect to see Daniel proposing to Amber, in an attempt to gloss over all that has happened between them and forgive and forget, but will marrying her solve their issues? In another drama filled household, Ashley blames herself for Nikki’s disappearance, but is she right about this? We’ll find out soon, because Melody Thomas Scott has been taping for a few weeks and will return post haste! With all that Ashley’s been going through, old Vic thinks she’s losing it. Not exactly what she wants to hear, but there is some truth to it, thanks to Adam, who we also wish would leave town already. Good luck to Victor, whose children will be confronting him about bringing Patty to Genoa City. Good luck with that old boy and good luck when Ashley finds this bit of information out! Meanwhile, in the next town, Colleen has made an escape from spider-bitten crazy Patty and starts having visions while she’s drowning. Will she wake up or die? We’ll let you watch and find out on your own. Patty, meanwhile has Jack looking for her and Colleen and he’s right on her heels. Look out Jack and Victor when Patty points a gun at both, wondering which to shoot first!
It’s not all drama for the select actors who play out the drama for you in your favorite soaps each day. Sometimes they show their fun side and this time’s no different when they show up on a few game shows!
The Game Show Network, I admit, never intrigued me, and I’ve never watched it. Any other soapies out there who felt the same? Your tune may change if you like soaps. “The Newlywed Game” will have a soap opera couples extravaganza on their show Monday October 12 at 6:00 PM on GSN. During the season you can expect to see soap stars and their spouses compete to match their answers to their spouses in order to take home prizes. The list of contestants are as follows: All My Children’s Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee), and husband, Bob Guiney (The Bachelor), Bold and The Beautiful’s Ronn Moss and wife Devin DeVasques (former model) and General Hospital’s Greg Vaughan (Lucky) and his actress wife Touriya Haoud.
Then… if that’s not enough, Kevin Dobson, (Mickey) from Days Of Our Lives, General Hospital’s Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie), Brandon Barish (Johnny) and The Young and The Restless’ Tatyana Ali (Roxanne) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) will all be seen on “Catch 21″ which premieres on Tuesday October 13 at 6:30 PM. They’ll be seen during the season competing for a chance to win $25, 000.
Update: Updated on October 22:
Greg Vaughan (Lucky Spencer) will appear tonight, October 22, at 6:00 PM, Thad Luckinbill (JT Hellstrom) and Amelia Heinle (Vikki Hellstrom) will be on the November 3 episode, and Ronn Moss (Ridge Forrester) will appear in January 2010.
Just when it seemed impossible to believe in miracles…
Nicole opens her mouth and lets out a few secrets as Rafe listens. Not that Nicole opening her mouth is a miracle, but Rafe stumbling onto the secrets that she’s been hiding for longer that anyone should have to remember certainly is.
The Young and the Restless’ Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) documented his whole experience, as well as fellow castmate’s Jeanne Cooper’s (Catherine Chancellor) during their trip to the Guiding Light studio for a cameo appearance.

After spending the night together, Jason and Sam find a new way to be uncomfortable. They go downstairs and discover Maxie, Spinelli, Robin, Patrick, Molly and Kristina are all there and know what has been going on. While Jason tries to hide his embarrassment, Molly takes him aside and warns him that he’d better not break Sam’s heart again. Sam just happens to be eavesdropping. Will she appreciate it? The Young and the Restless is currently looking to bring back the role of Malcolm Winters (previously played by Shemar Moore) and has put a casting call out for the part! But that’s not all, it appears they plan to throw a new billionaire in the mix by the name of Tucker!
The Young and the Restless actress Sharon Case (Sharon Abbott) is taking her talents to the Hallmark Channel through its new movie “Man Of The House,” where she’ll play a teacher – and the love interest of her co-star David James Elliot (Jag)
Is it my imagination or are there way more fan events for soap fans than ever?
The weekend of October 10, fourteen soap opera actors from soaps such as All My Children, Days Of Our Lives, General Hospital, One Life to Live and The Young and The Restless, along with Matt Giraud (American Idol) will be meeting and greeting fans, singing, dancing, providing comedy and interactive spoofs of Daytime’s memorable scenes beginning at 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM at the Masonic Temple Theatre which is located at 500 Temple Avenue, Detroit, Michigan.
If you can’t make it that day, you can catch another performance and good time Sunday October 11 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Masonic Temple’s Ballroom for a Q&A session, get those coveted autographs and photos of the actors and enjoy a behind the scenes presentation with Guiding Light director, Adam Reist.
