The Abbott family is absolutely crushed to learn that Colleen is brain dead and will not survive. Tracy, in specific, has a difficult time believing it and letting her daughter go. JT is also upset to learn Colleen’s fate and breaks down, while even Victoria feels lost with the news… Meanwhile, Victor has taken bullet fragments to his heart and has an emergency. How much do you want to bet that he will need a heart transplant. Could Colleen’s heart be given to him? Only in the soaps, it could, so you know that has to be a ‘yes’. Great fun!
Just when you thought the Terroni painting storyline was over, it’s back! Gloria and Deacon have dibs on it but it’s Daniel who devises a nice little scam, er – plan, to steal the real painting. Half of Genoa City head to Detroit to see what’s going on at the safe deposit box, while others are trying to break into it, such as Amber, who dresses up as Gloria! Does anyone really care about this storyline? Is it getting more exciting or is there a hope for an end in sight?
With her wedding right around the corner, Maxie is looking for any possible excuse to call off the wedding. Unfortunately for her, everything is going too smoothly. Robin does her best to relieve the bride’s fears and Maxie gives in, sure that she has no choice other than to go through with the wedding. During the rehearsal, however, things are running less smoothly. Martha Byrne recently wrapped up shooting the role of Andrea Floyd on GH, but she’s already hard at work on a new series.
The veteran soap actress, best known as Lily Snyder on As The World Turns is launching a new series for the intenet next month. “Gotham” is a web series that will follow Richard Manning (Michael Park) and Catherine Prescott (Martha Byrne) as they cross paths in the suburbs of New York after years without contact. The series will be reuniting Byrne with former ATWT co-stars Park (Jack Snyder) and Anne Sayre (ex-Mitzi Matters). “Gotham” will start production on October 17 and debut online in November. Mark Hapka, the actor who plays the role, recently had a chat with Christine Fix over at out sister site Soaps.com. Mark talks about his background, his character and what it’s like to work in Daytime.

Several fans asked how Mark enjoyed being on the show so far. “Nathan is overall a great character. I am however anxious to see where they take him. Hope it gets real dark and deep.” (Smiles) He went on to answer a few other questions regarding his character… When asked who he’d like Nathan to be paired up with, he says, “This is a tough one- I don’t have any preconceived ideas of Nathan’s storyline. I just want it to be good, fun, exciting and something I can sink my teeth into! I would love to have some scenes with James Scott.
