ABC Daytime Partners With iParticipate.
ABC Daytime is joining forces with “iParticipate” to weave volunteering themes into the fabric of their Daytime dramas.
To promote and inform the public to become more active in their communities, All My Children‘s Pine Valley, General Hospital‘s Port Charles and One Life to Live‘s Llanview will all see volunteer-based storylines crop up during the week of October 19.

I actually stumbled upon this campaign because I love the band The Album Leaf, and their song “The Light” was featured in one of the commercials, but now that I’ve seen the ad, I’m really happy to see the entertainment industry giving back. Living in LA, it’s easy to just get caught up in all the negative and scandalous stories of Hollywood types, so I’m happy to see something like this.
