General Hospital Weekly Summary For October 19-23.
Just when Claudia and Sonny bond, Jason finds the proof to blow them apart.
Once again, Dante refused to sleep with Claudia. She was outraged but he walked out on her, turning to Lulu for some flirtation before noticing a familiar bit of graffiti on an alley wall. Claudia returned to Sonny and told him she wasn’t pregnant. To cheer her up, he decided to take her with him to Puerto Rico on business. While there, she promised to prove what an asset she could be to him. They met with some of his associates who were tangled up with Anthony. Sonny confronted them and Claudia even pulled a gun on one to save her husband. He was so impressed that he wanted to throw a celebration for her.
Anthony sent for Olivia and asked her to give him a reason not to have her killed. He was impressed by her feistiness and offered to let her live. Johnny showed up next to warn his father off and then ran across town to make love to Olivia. Their long tryst was interrupted when Dominic showed up to tell Johnny that their boss had left the country. The next day, Dominic bumped into Jax at the mansion. Jax repeated that he wants Sonny taken down no matter what. Dominic tracked down Spinelli for help figuring out what the graffiti tag could mean. Spinelli had no luck finding any information about it, but he did tell Dominic all about the various, highly illegal, things he does for the mob.
Jason got another lead on evidence Devlin left behind. He and Sam went to an old house and dug up one of Devlin’s bags in the basement. When the owner of the house returned, she collapsed upstairs. They ran up after hearing a thud and rushed the pregnant woman to the hospital where she gave birth. This brought back bad memories for Sam but Jason was there to comfort her. They turned to the hospital, and Devlin’s old records, to look for more hidden clues. Patrick and Robin figured out what they were up to and offered their help. After sorting through many files, Jason and Sam finally found an encoded disc which Spinelli hacked open for them. Jason was sure that this was the proof he needed to nail Claudia. Spinelli said that the proof wasn’t good enough. Jason was outraged and returned to the hospital where he found more DVDs, one of which contained all the proof he could need.
Elizabeth worried to Nikolas about the fact that Helena seems to know all about them. They agreed that they couldn’t hurt Lucky, so he set about sending Helena. Meanwhile, Elizabeth walked in on a surprise engagement party featuring most of the Spencer family. Luke suspected that something might be askew with the couple but kept this from his son. Liz ran off to Wyndemere to tell Nikolas that they can’t be together when she is already blessed to have Lucky in her life. He turned back to Rebecca, taking her out to the Haunted Star, much to Ethan’s chagrin. Luke warned his son to bite his tongue and bide his time when it comes to the Cassadines and Lulu worried about her brothers. Dominic was around to keep her distracted though. She tried to get him to open up about his father. He explained that he did some digging and found that his father was just some normal guy.
Kate showed up at Olivia’s to rant at her about how she was putting herself, and those around her, at risk. Olivia refused to listen and didn’t appreciate her cousin threatening to reveal the truth to Sonny herself. Kate went to Jake’s to soften her sorrows with some drinks with Coleman until Dante walked in and she confronted him, threatening to reveal exactly why he can’t be the one to bring Sonny down.
Kristina stayed home and cried to herself. Her brother stopped by and she told Michael what happened with Kiefer and then tried to convince herself that it was good and they are a perfect couple. He went home and started having more memories, this time of Jerry talking to him about the shooting. Worrying about his mother’s pregnancy, he covered and claimed it was nothing, but Jax confronted him for the details when they were alone. Michael didn’t tell him much more, but later remembered Jerry telling him that Claudia was behind everything.
