General Hospital Weekly Summary For October 5-9.
Claudia gets desperate, Dante’s mission is compromised and the Cassadines face a new threat.
Sonny was disturbed when Dominic seemed reluctant to kill the guy he fingered as a rat. After some debate, Dominic finally agreed to do it to prove his loyalty and took the rat to the woods. Before he could shoot him, he offered to save him by handing him over to the witness protection program. After some debate, the rat agreed and Dominic released him into custody before Jason arrived. He brought Dominic back to Sonny to explain the situation. Sonny was ready to banish him from the organization for failing to kill the rat but Jason stood up for him.
Jax and the family confronted Carly about not picking a baby name yet. She agreed to pick one that started with ‘J’ and settled on Jocelyn John. When she began questioning Kristina about Michael, he overheard and freaked out. They calmed him down… until Kiefer showed up to pick up Kristina and Molly. Michael threw him down and pounded on him until Jax pulled him off. The girls went home. Molly told Alexis, who promptly forbade Kristina to see her brother. The next day, Alexis bumped into Michael by the harbor and asked him to stay away from her daughters. Carly just happened to walk by and gave her a piece of her mind. Meanwhile, Sam was busy taking Kristina to the clinic to get birth control.
In Greece, Helena told a skeptical Luke that she was as much of a victim as he was. The real problem was one of Mikkos’ bastard children – Valentin – who had come out of the woodwork to destroy everyone. Lulu and Ethan arrived in Greece and went straight after Luke and Helena. Although they weaseled their way into the mansion, they were thrown out without finding anyone. They bumped into Helena’s nurse at the local bar and she filled them in. They returned to the castle and tried to free Helena and Luke. Before they could escape, they were cornered by guards… until Nikolas popped up and stopped them all, asking for an explanation.
Back in Port Charles, Claudia went to Olivia’s to confront her about Dominic/Dante. Olivia couldn’t talk her way out of it. Claudia demanded that she dump Johnny. Olivia had to reluctantly agree and called him over to break the bad news. He couldn’t believe it but she claimed that she was in love with Sonny, not him. They had a fevered argument but she pushed him away. Once he was gone, she called Jax and told him she wanted to turn Jason loose on Claudia. Meanwhile, her brother stormed over to the Corinthos compound where his sister was busy trying to seduce Dominic. He interrupted them and threatened to put his fist through her skull. Johnny stormed back to Olivia and tried to talk her around. She rejected him again. Claudia called her to ask for the honeymoon suite at the Metro Court.
Dante went to see Ronnie, who was in a panic about the entire operation and eager to end it. He ordered Dante to wear a wire so they could finally get something concrete on Sonny. Soon after, Dante was called to the Metro Court by Claudia. He resisted her as she clawed at his clothes, though the promise of inside information from her tempted him. She also revealed that she knew his real identity and threatened to tell Sonny if he didn’t give her what she wanted. Before she could get him naked, Ronnie sent over some cops to arrest him and save him from certain doom. He then informed the undercover cop that he was off the case. Dante refused to stop until Sonny was behind bars.
Downstairs, Sonny showed up to see Olivia after learning that she and Johnny had broken up. She pushed him away. He ran into Carly in the lobby. She complained to him about Alexis’ attitude toward Michael. Their discussion was disturbed when Claudia walked by buttoning up her pants.
After Matt teased Patrick about the loss of his bachelor days, Robin had to take a raincheck on their night out with Coleman at Jake’s. He bumped into the ADA, Louise, who just happened to be the best friend of one of his old flames and they left for the bar together. Maxie learned of this and freaked. She prepared Robin for a night of romance and bought her a garish outfit from ‘planet sexy’ to surprise Patrick in.
