The Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Summary For October 19 - 23!

A coup, an engagement and a baby.

After more pressure from Bill, Brooke convinced the FC team to accept his offer to buy the company and put Katie in charge as CEO. She told Eric, Ridge, Donna and Katie that they could keep control of the company if Katie was the public face of FC, but Ridge made the day-to-day decisions. She also declared they would hold important meetings at FC and not in Spencer offices. She asked Katie if she would be loyal to the family above anyone else and Katie assured her she would. Ridge told Bill they accepted his offer, as long as Katie was their only connection to Spencer Publications, to which he agreed.

While Katie and Bill celebrated their coup, Bill popped the question to a stunned Katie who said yes.

On her first day as CEO, Katie and Bill told Brooke and Ridge they were engaged. Alone with her sister, Brooke questioned this move considering the timing of it and reminded her of where her loyalties were supped to lie. Katie wouldn’t let Brooke ruin her happy moment and told her everything would be fine.

Forrester held a press conference to announce their new arrangement and Bill declared that Katie was CEO. Katie fielded questions and when asked who she would side with if forced to, she stated she would have to side with Bill, much to her family’s disappointment and sense of betrayal.

Owen continued to try and convince Jackie to look into using a surrogate so they could have a baby. Jackie eventually gave in and told Owen she would go along with it.

As Steffy worried about Owen giving up his desire to have kids so he could stay married to Jackie, Taylor urged Steffy to stay out of their marriage. Taylor compared Steffy to Brooke, which made Steffy vow to stay away from Owen.

Jackie eventually told Owen she couldn’t go through with raising another baby and after she invited Steffy to come over, suggested the two of them might be able to have what she couldn’t give him.
