The Young and The Restless: Colleen As Victor’s Donor Poll!

Asking too much?

Some would say that if it weren’t for Victor bringing Patty Williams back to town that Colleen would be alive - and now Traci was left with the dilemma of signing for Colleen to be Victor’s heart donor. If the choice were up to you, if you could write the storyline outcome, what would you do?

I think this could be what buries the hatchet between Victor & Jack.Seeing as Jack was the one who helped Tracy with this decision.Too many ppl have gotten hurt by this war.

I love any story line that encourages organ donation as my son is alive today because of a donor heart he received in 2002. However, the way the timeline of the donation has played out is very unrealistic, donations must occur within mere hours of the donor’s death, not days. The organs will not stay viable for extended periods of time, thus the need for a quick decision on the family’s part. Also organ donors are completely anonymous to their recipients and the donor family chooses how much contact & information they want to share with the recepient & families. Kudos to Y&R for encouraging organ donation, but please present the story accurately! Thank you to Peter Bergman for doing the PSA after Friday’s show! Thank you Y&R for airing this storyline.
