Days of Our Lives‘ Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) is partnering with Crest Glide ® Floss to tell the public how important flossing is.

They are joining forces with Feeding America to host Crest Glide Tight Spaces Challenge events this month in Los Angeles and New York. “Working in television while taking care of two young children can be stressful, but knowing I have a healthy smile always gives me the confidence I need to glide through a hectic day,” Alison quipped. She will be encouraging the crowd to show off their talents at the specially designed Tight Spaces obstacle course.

The Tight Spaces Challenges in New York City will take place on Tuesday November 10, 2009 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. in the Southwest Plaza of Union Square, Manhattan. The Los Angeles event will happen on Saturday November 21, 2009 from noon until 4:00 PM in the center court of Hollywood & Highland.

Glide will donate $1 to Feeding America for every person who participates in the Tight Spaces Challenge events. Crest Glide is also encouraging people to tweet about tight spaces on Twitter. Consumers are asked to tweet to Glide about the “Tight Spaces” in their lives using the hashtag #GlideTightSpaces. Until December 31, 2009, for every person who tweets with that hashtag, Crest Glide will donate $1 to Feeding America. Additionally, Crest Glide will make a guaranteed donation of $20,000 to the charity to help out with the holidays.
