Soap Opera Stars At The 2009 Hollywood Christmas Parade!

The 2009 Hollywood Christmas Parade will include Daytime soap opera stars!

Presented by Coca-Cola, on Sunday November 29, at 6:00 PM, everyone will gather in Hollywood, California for the Hollywood Christmas Parade, which will be taped that night then aired nationally, twice, for a special Primetime event on MyNetworkTV on December 10, with an encore of the event to air on December 24 – Christmas Eve! Soap opera stars taking part in the parade will include All My Children’s Susan Lucci (Erica Kane), who will be the parade’s Grand Marshal, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Lesley-Anne Down (Jackie Knight), Jennifer Gareis (Donna Forrester) and Heather Tom (Katie Logan), General Hospital’s Julie Berman (Lulu Spencer), Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller), John Ingle (Edward Quartermaine) and Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri), and The Young and the Restless’ Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), Judith Chapman (Gloria Bardwell), Jeanne Cooper (Katherine Chancellor), Eileen Davidson (Ashley Newman), Hayley Erin (Abby Carlton), Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe), Kate Linder (Esther Valentine), Vanessa Marano (Eden Baldwin), Kevin Schmidt (Noah Newman) and Yvonne Zima (Daisy).

President David McKenzie of Associated Television International, who will produce the Primetime special, announced, “Proceeds from the telecasts of the parade will benefit this year’s official charity, Feed The Children, a nonprofit relief organization which delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty or natural disasters. We are happy to do our part to help those in need.”
