Amber landed a new job, Jill hired Paul, Lily took a turn for the worst, and Mac made an offer…

After the SEC investigated Victor’s connection to the Cayman bank fiasco, Michael convinced Nick to settle out of court then informed Gloria and Jeff that they’d get their money back! Lauren hired Amber as a designer for Fenmore’s, as well as Daisy, as a clerk, at Amber’s referral.

Victor and Nikki said their goodbyes and left for the clinic in Belgium - with the new Zapato lookalike as a gift from Nikki. After Vikki received JT’s note - that he’d taken the job in NY and didn’t think she cared to save their marriage - she resigned from Newman, and they vowed to make things right.

Nick warned Adam, who wasn’t fazed by his warning, to stay away from Sharon, who became infuriated when Adam revealed  that Nick was sending him on a business trip to make sure he stayed away from her!

Mac became more disappointed in Billy and told Chloe she could have him! After Chance refused a date with Chloe, Billy went to the mansion, pulled Chloe into a kiss and Chance witnessed it! However, Chloe asked Billy to leave, and though she tried to explain things to Chance, he blew up on his father, through frustration, for walking out on him then apologized to Chloe, who finally signed Billy’s divorce papers! Later, Mac agreed to let Billy use the bar as home-base for the magazine - if he ran a cover story on a hometown hero. Phillip approached Chance at Crimson Lights, to discuss their issues, but when Chance noticed a man harassing Gloria, for money, he tried to intervene - and was stabbed!

Lily and Cane consummated their renewed vows - and made love - but she was later admitted to the hospital for an infection! While everyone hoped Lily would take to the antibiotics, Lily expressed to Cane that she wanted to have their baby - and Mac offered to be their surrogate!

As Emily was set to leave town, she was offered a job that was funded by the Abbott Foundation and accused Jack of trying to buy her presence in Genoa City! However, after Jack saved her from being arrested, having been mistaken for Patty, Emily agreed to take the job and finally appreciated Jack’s honesty of only wanting what was best for Patty, claiming Emily was it! Now an associate with the cancer center, Emily visited Lily to lend support then joined Jack at the club, where he stole a quick kiss before calling it a night!

Kay offered Jill, as well as Neil, a remarkable stock opportunity and announced that she was taking Chancellor Industries public - and wanted a new start with Jill. In turn, Jill hired Paul to find Kay’s real daughter. Though Jack wanted in on Kay’s new deal, she refused him, declined his suggestion that she sell him Jabot, but Jack went to Ashley suggesting they take back Jabot! Ashley refused then privately planned to buy up as much Chancellor stock as she could!
