Leann Hunley Returns To Days of Our Lives.
Leann Hunley (Anna DiMera) is back!
She has already been on the canvas for a few says, secretly playing the DiMera widow.
Spoiler Alert: Don’t read further if you don’t want to know.
It turns out that Anna is Sydney’s kidnapper. You can see her first on Thursday December 10 as a cloaked figure, but her familiar face will be revealed on Friday December 11. So far, she is only expected to be back for a few episodes, but that may change. The series vet hasn’t been seen since Thursday April 2 2009, when she slapped Stefano and told him off in the aftermath of Tony’s demise. Is Anna back for revenge, or something else?

I think Anna knocked Nicole in the head because she thought Nicole is getting away but she didn’t..WE are surprise and shocked to Leann is back to work in the last month…I hope Anna brings Sydney back to Sami and Rafe..I still blame EJerk for forcing to bring her to his place……

This whole Nicole storyline is bugging me. Why do they assume she’s involved with Sydney’s whereabouts now? Why would she hit herself in the head & knock herself out? Then I wonder why Nicole didn’t mention her Mom’s neighbor trying to threaten & stop her from going to the bus station just before it happened.

They might as well get rid of Gabi or try to spice her character up. So far she has been dry & uninteresting. Her face is expressionless & they haven’t given her anything that shows her acting ability for us yet. I’ll give a little longer for more of a chance, but I’m not liking her yet.

wait a second what if in a twisted way stefano gave anna the orders to kidnap sydney hes the only one who iknows everything maybe he gave her a mind altering drug or planted a microchip in her head at any rate i hope leann stays on days as anna for many days and years to come now to get tony marlena & john back on the canvas its a new year coming up they would be a perfect way to start 2010

i hope when ari comes back as nicole the writing team and head writer dena higley have a big story for nicole and to not write her as a sap she is so good as a badass villaness her due date is dec 16 but maybe she had her baby girl already days tapes 4- 6 weeks ahead anyway congats to ari & kyle on the new baby and i hope nicole wont be off the show that long like when allison sweeney had her 2 kids that was a very brief offscreen i hope they do the same for ari as nicole

HEY!!! Did anyone else notice that Maggie has be looking at pictures of Mickey Horton (John Clarke)!!???!!! She did it last Thurs when Stephanie was there.
Does that mean he’s coming back to the show since they showed his face?

When John Clarke left, it was under doctors’ orders. Heart condition, I believe.
John Ingle recast was just CREEPY. Ditto the Bonnie Lockhart bed scenes with nuMickey Ingle.
Clarke has to be in his 70s, but if he’s recovered, bring him on. But make sure he has interaction and doesn’t go missing a la Kevin Dobsen recast.

I vote for Billie for Bo. She was unselfish and took Bo the way he is without all the backbiting insults like he gets from the Hope wench! I always found Anna and Tony boring myself–plus silly! I fast forwarded through most of their scenes. The best scene she did was when she told Stephano off right before she left. Why bring her back to kidnap sydney? Kate or Meredith would make more sense. I see a boring storyline with Anna in it coming down the pike.

Stop with the Melanie and Philip crap. The Carly and Beau story is very lame. What was the purpose of bringing Justin back? Hope is getting thinner and thinner as time goes on. I don’t think there is any story line that would bring back the excitment when Beau and Hope first met. Let them get a divorce for good. Poor Nicole. They should have had Nicole tell EJ the truth and they could have raised Sammie’s baby together and lived happily ever after. Poor Nicole. They better bring her back and not have her just as a stand in now and then.

Janet: now that you ask why Anna would have it in for Sami, here’s a remote possibility. Sami took Austin away from Carrie (Anna & Roman’s daughter). Although she & Austin reunited, Carrie was horribly wronged by Sami. However, that was SOOOO long ago it doesn’t have any relevance. As far as EJ goes, it could have something to do with the sibling rivalry between EJ & Tony. Stefano actually had EJ running the empire while Tony was relegated to a lesser role. But neither scenario actually works for why Anna has incentive to swipe Sydney.
IMO, many of us here could write better storylines than the actual writers! Lots of us have memories that go back to the 1970s or even the very beginning in 1965! Just think what we could come up with, and yet remain true to the original characters’ histories.

So, does this mean the figure we see walking with Sydney is Anna??!! If so, why? How would she recognize Nicole with that horrible jet black hair and short cut? Why would Anna be in Cleveland? unless Stefano sent her there with a mission. Syd needs to be brought back to Sami & EJ. Let’s quite the baby switch-kidnapping drama for a bit. It’s tired, boring and I just don’t like it. Kudos to Arianne Zuker. She’s an excellent actress & deserves an award for her talent. So, we have a new Will? This should be interesting. Also, Carly & pervy doctor Dan as a former couple and had a baby…Melanie together? Gross! I still don’t get how either Melanie or Mia wouldn’t know they were adopted first & formost and then not see a resemblence between Carly and themselves?

What a surprise…no one suspected Anna of taking Sydney!!! I am sooo glad that she’s NOT working for Stefano, but don’t get it that she’s working for EJ??? She wants revenge on Stefano for all the horrible things he did to Tony..I just hope she gets Stefano where it hurts him the most..through his family! I hope this also means that Tony is alive and well, but don’t understand the connection to EJ being the master manipulator? EJ has been acting like he doesn’t know where Sydney is or who has her.

I think that the reason Anna stole Sydney because she thinks she is EJ’s and Nicole’s. She hates Stefano, so she wanted revenge. If she knew Sydney was Sami’s, she would not have done it.

Ok here is my take on this, Anna is so mad at Stefano because he treated tony like crap before he died he wants to take his grandaughter away, She hit Nicole and took the baby because she did not know there was a baby switch and if you recall when tony died, Nicole said Philip didnt cause tony’s death. So she wants revenge on the dimera family. She dosent realize that it is sami’s baby. She thinks it is Nicoles. This is just basicly revenge for Tony’s death.

I thought it might be better if Carly told Justin her real reasoning for wanting to stay in Salem, but on Fri. it made me mad when he tried to sabotage her getting a job. I don’t want Carly to be the reason Bo & Hope don’t work things out, Hope was doing a well enough job of that on her own before Carly came back. I wish Hope wouldn’t be sp stubborn & they could all help eachother.

I think EJ stealing his Stefano’s house is just wrong. He’s not man enough to get his own house? Stefano is by far no saint, but EJ is a thief now. I wonder what kind of custody case he’ll have when Arianna exposes him as a drug lord & he loses his Father’s house(that won’t happen but really!) Soaps, you gotta love em

I love it when the rich families fight over their money and heritage. I still think Philip is Vivian and Ivan’s son which would put Justin in a position of taking over the Kiriakis fortune. It’s fun to see Kate and Vivian fighting again!
Maybe Anna will get into the mix. She and Caliope used to be hilarious together, like a comedy team.

I thibk EJ is pulling a muse over on Sami and Stephano to get revenge on them for what they did to him with Grace. Remmy all his threats during that time? Well, now it’s payback. EU refused to call off ‘his’ people because the were trailing Nicole. I remember a man knocking out Nicole. I think EJ arranged for Anna to care for Syd once he deflected all suspicions off himself.

Anna the kidnapper!! Say it isn’t so……. She probably doesn’t know that’s Sami’s baby only that the baby is Mia’s. That’s what Tony knew to my knowledge. She wants revenge on EJ and Stefano. It will be interesting to find out why she did it and how did she track Nicole down to get Sydney.

I too noticed the photo of the original Micky. wow, that would be something to bring back an old face. One again the writers are having to many story lines going at one time. EJ,sami, baby, Rafe; the younger actors are all mixed up and I am tied of the Hope and Bo saga. I do enjoy the humor coming from Victor. Days writers, please bring back Marlana and John, steve and Kayla. You would make my Christmas.

I was thinking thru this whole baby mess and tell me if Im wrong. I remember Sami had decided to tell EJ about being pregnant, but when she went to the mansion, she saw something that made her change her mind. And she said that this baby would be grow up to be a DiMera.

Well, everyone think about this. I believe that EJ is behind the kidnapping. EJ is livid that Stefano kept the truth about Sydney from him. So, now EJ is getting back at him. He is receiving Anna’s help in this due to the fact that Anna is willing to do anything to get back at him also. EJ is setting up Stefano so, Sami will think of him as her hero (when Sydney gets returned). And for those of you who believe that EJ and Sami belong together (you are crazy). Another thing, Carly Manning is a town tramp. Melanie is Carly and Daniels kid. Chad is Carly and Bo’s kid. And lets not forget that Carly and Lawrence have a son. Anyone can tell that Melanie is Carly’s daughter (they both are loose). Not to forget that Dr. Dan is as trampy as they come. I hope that Hope and Justin get together. I can’t stand Bo. Him and Carly make a perfect couple. Hope you get a real man. Stephanie and Nathan belong together (cute couple). And now lets talk about NICOLE. This actress definately deserves an award for her superb acting skills. Days of our Lives wouldn’t make it without Ari Zuker. She is the best actress on the show. I do believe that the writers should give her a real man to have as her partner. I would like to say Congrats to Ari and Kyle Lowder for the birth of their baby girl Isabella. Many best wishes to you. AND, please writers give LUCAS A better role. He is a fine actor and just needs more QUALITY SCENES. CHLOE AND DAN will come to an end due to the TOWN PUMP (Carly).

Ugh! Now I regret reading these b/c I would have been genuinely surprised for once about the kidnapper identity. For some reason, I thought maybe Chad would be linked to the kidnapping since he was royally screwed over on so many levels by just about everyone involved – purposely or not. Maybe his rich lawyer parents know Anna – that would be a twist ;-D~

Carly’s daughter is Melanie as reported in the internet spoilers. I think EJ is making calls to Troy since Victor approached EJ several months ago with an offer to take over the drug operation. Stephano keeps saying that he personally did not take Sydney, so I think he hired Anna for a sum of money, to take Sydney. I think he is responsible for the kidnapping and of course he will deny personally taking her because he got Anna to do his dirty deeds for him. I too wish that Marlena and John would come back. If they can bring Anna and Carly back, why not offer John and Marlena another contract to come back?

Rumor has it that Mickey is going to pass away in January and start a big role for Maggie. I think Kate is behind the baby kidnapping I just dont know why she would do it? Any ideas?? I did think it was EJ for awhile, but Im really starting to not think that anymore. Anna not realizing that is Sami’s baby would make more sense though because Roman is going to be really mad. Im not sure and for once I say good job Days because I have so many theories and cant wait to see how it really plays out!! Hope Im not disappointed.

I think Anna took Sydney for revenge on Stefano. It does surprise me that she would do this considering that Syd is Roman’s granddaughter. Glad to have Anna back!
I think Justin has his eye set on Hope!
Kinda sad to see Lucas leaving the show-not one of my fav characters, but he is a decent actor- I hate that the writers only show him as a weak man…

Really confused! How is Melanie Carly & Daniel’s daughter? When she first showed up, she was Max’s sister with the wicked father who pimped her out. Wasn’t he Melanie and Max’s biological father? Btw, I agree that Arianne Zucker is extremely talented, but Allison Sweeney has matured wonderfully and is now a joy to watch as well!

I don’t know WHY Anna kidnapped Sydney and frankly, I don’t care. This poor baby and her storyline have been over for a long time – put her back with Rafe and Sami and kick EJ to the curb. He doesn’t even deserve visiting rights – he DID kick her out of the house and he DID rape her mother! If “they” could somehow make Sydney and Johnny NOT EJ’s kids, it would be a great day. I would love to see him with no one. And I still think either he and/or Stephano are behind the wnole thing.
Bryan Datillo – great actor…Lucas Horton – terrible character.
I’ve always been a Bope fan, but Hope is acting so out of character that’s she’s barely recognizable. I don’t want to see Carly and Bo back together, but if they dance around it for a while to jerk Hope back to reality, that would be ok.
Nathan and Stph – ugh! Give Stephanie a personality of her own before putting her with a man. When she first came back, she was firey and sharp, then they put her with Jeremy and she’s been downhill since then.
There is no unpredictability on this show. It’s been boring for so long and the characters are so one-dimentional and flat. It’ll be the next soap to be axed.

Hope is getting boring….with all her and Bo have been through she should cut him a break. She acts like she’s the victim in all of this……grow up Hope! You’ve got a wonderful man but it’s obvious you don’t appreciate him…If you really loved him then you would work together to solve your problems….not move away.

I wish they would bring back some of the older characters. I’ve watched DOOL since I was 4 and teh older ones provided stability for the show. Glad Lucas is exiting, and I think Rafe and Sami make a great couple. It would be nice to see her take on the refined dignity of her mother for a while and drop the crisis/always crying about something crap.
Would like to see EITHER (but not both) EJ or Stefano become a good guy and the other one completely evil. IF BO AND HOPE DIVORCE I WILL QUIT WATCHING THE SHOW. Every show needs some that stay stable, and this team has been great. Since they are some of the last of the originals, there will be little left to watch except the booring teen-drama stuff.

I like Rafe and want to see him stay. I like him with Sami, I’m tired of the story with her and EJ, it sucks. I’m tired of the kidnapping story going on and on. Enough is enough for heaven sake. Please let Rafe stay, he’s great, he’s handsome and sexy! Stop changing all these actors and “Please do something with Will’s hair, it’s awful, it always has been! But don’t take Sami’s baby away from her and let EJ, Anna, and Stephano win this one. I like them all and have watched this soap from it’s beginning. I miss Marlena and John, too. Now you’re taking Lucas off too. Take Kate if you take anyone!

Why do we have to go through another stupid story with Bo and Hope? The days of this super couple has past. Every soap had/has their super young in love couple. But come on writer it is time to focus on an interesting couple like the sweet yet bitter love between Sami and EJ. Focus on that chemistry writers! Let Rafe’s ex wife really be alive. Have it where her crazy sister has been keeping her captive for a sick reason. Let her get away some how to find Rafe. Let Rafe have dreams about her thinking she is a ghost. Meanwhile the ghost of Sami’s look alike great aunt and EJ’s grandfather haunt her about her true feeling for EJ. And please do not drag out the timeframe of Carly telling Melanie that she is her Mom. The writers can do good stories with the truth being out. It would be a challenge for Vivian being torn between killing Mel and losing all hope of Phillip caring for her.

If Anna can get EJ and Sami back together I am all for her helping EJ. They make a supercouple. Rafe needs to just go away. EJ loves Sami for who she really is. They have a wonderful chemistry.
