It appears we might see Thom’s character back on canvas sooner than we thought! Soap Opera Digest is reporting that the actor is set to return to Genoa City as Phillip sometime in the beginning of 2010! Though it was never stated how long Thom Bierdz (Phillip Chancellor III) would be staying on at The Young and the Restless, the actor has made it clear, through his Twitter today, stating that his time with the show is over – as of his last scenes yesterday.
ThomBierdz tweeted, “true – my y&r contract has ended. i feel great about the good-bye scenes that aired yesterday. i really love those people.”

She’s confident that her jealousy of Carly is justified, however. She refuses to see Carly as a hapless victim. Lexi tells her about the corpse Viv had dumped in the hospital. He continued, “In years past when things went wrong with women it was kind of like, ‘Of course, they hate me.’ I want him to be a little more responsible with his own emotions and to just hold her accountable rather than making it like, ‘Of course she’ll cheat on me.’ I just didn’t want him to be the doof again because we’ve done that before.
