Time for a little soapy downtime…

With the holidays come some pre-emptions for our favorite Daytime dramas, and this year’s schedule goes as follows…

Thursday December 24 Christmas Eve:

While ABC will show encores of all its soaps, CBS and NBC will air new episodes today.

Friday December 25 Christmas Day:

ABC soap operas are all pre-empted today. While CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless will air repeats, As The World Turns will show a new episode today.

NBC will air a new episode of Days of Our Lives.

Thursday December 31 New Year’s Eve:

All ABC soaps are pre-empted today, as is CBS’ As The World Turns, but The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless will air a new episode, as will NBC’s Days of Our Lives.

Friday January 1 New Year’s Day:

There will be a national pre-emption for all ABC, CBS and NBC soaps today.
