Sad news for the soap world…

Jerry Birn, husband to The Young and the Restless’ Patty Weaver Birn (ex-Gina Roma), and father of fellow actress Laura Bryan Birn (ex-Lynne Bassett), passed away in his sleep on December 5.

At the age of eighty-six, Jerry was a former story consultant and writer for The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless.
