Someone returns, gifts are handed out and an answer to a proposal is given…

With Christmas falling on a Friday this year, Soap Opera Fan Blog brings you our Young and the Restless spoilers a day early!

You won’t want to miss the show today, as the Newmans receive a special surprise visitor for the holidays – Nikki, who ends up receiving a surprise of her own… A visit from Tucker McCall, who refers to her as ‘darlin’!

Paul and Nina have come across a few clues on the hunt for Katherine’s child, so expect Jill to present Katherine with a special Christmas gift – a name in a box. Whether she’ll finally be able to give her news about the child she gave up years ago, you’ll have to stay tuned to find out.

Then there’s Adam’s proposal to Sharon… Their engagement announcement is sure to rock many of their friends and family, but Sharon and Adam don’t stick around to find out, as he’ll borrow the Newman jet and whisk her away to Lake Tahoe to elope! When Nick gets word the jet is missing, he’ll wonder if Adam went somewhere alone. Apparently the slap Phyllis gave him for thinking about Sharon’s involvement with Adam didn’t knock any sense into him!

While many will struggle with their emotions this holiday season, Lily and Cane may have another setback – when Lily demands that Cane get her to the hospital.

Friday’s episode will be pre-empted, with a past Genoa City Christmas encore in its place, but what’s to come for next week? Malcolm makes his return to town, Jack will shock Emily and a decision will be made within the Chancellor household.
