Days of Our Lives Spoilers For January 28-29.

More secrets, more lies.

Arianna opens up to Elvis and his charming accent. She tells him all about her undercover operation. In spite of this, he leaves her alone and she manages to intercept a phone call from Anna. “I was just calling to check on how things are going,” Anna tells Elvis. He assures her that things are fine, or they would be if she’d stop badgering him all the time. “Who’s Anna?” Ari asks him.

Brady worries about Arianna to Roman, who tries to keep the hot head calm. “Listen, her life could be in danger,” Brady spazzes. Later, Rafe asks Roman about what’s new with his sister’s case. Without learning much, he heads over to Sami’s where she is waiting with some wails saved up. “If I hadn’t told you my secret I would have my daughter back!” she yells at him. He decides that it’s time to move out again. As he leaves, he promises her, “I’m not gonna rest until I find Sydney.”

Daniel and Chloe meet up at the hospital. He has a surprise for her but can’t shake the feeling that something is wrong. She’s still worried that she won’t be able to have children. After he listens to her worries, he listens to Carly’s about Vivian. He turns from listening to lecturing when he corners Melanie and tells her to show more respect for Carly.

Stephanie and Nathan meet up and agree to tell Mel that they are officially dating… however, neither of them are very good at actually doing this. Maybe they should hurry up and do it because Mel still seems to be obsessed with the intern. She gripes to Stephanie about her wedding and then asks, “Nathan… anything new with him?” Meanwhile, thanks to the misery in her life, Maggie is tempted by a bottle of scotch.

If I were you, Arianna, I wouldn’t be friends with jerk like EJ–He is playing you, Rafe, Nicole, Stefano and even Sami! Aye aye aye…

  2. From dc

ari better watch herself.. ej knows everything about who she is.
and he will try and hurt her, especially because he is rafe’s sister..
i can’t wait until nicole gets back on the show..

  3. From sheila

hey, am i mistaken, but doesn’t phillip already have a baby with mimi? or was that someone else? and was carly before or after billie? so confused, bo has a kid with carly, billie, and two with hope, right?

  4. From Sheila

am i confused, but doesn’t phillip already have a baby with mimi? what happened with that? and was carly before billie or after? so bo has four kids: chelsea, shawn, ciara, and melanie?

  5. From Cindy

I hope Maggie turns back to the bottle. I love her and she needs a good storyline! Enough with the teeny-boppers.

  6. From raymoone

I must admit I have enjoyed Days not being “The Nicole Hour” since maternity leave has taken place.
Why is Arianna at EJ’s house? And why would she answer someone elses phone, particularly someone she barely knows? Oh, right, it’s a soap. Still and EJ/Sami fan.

  7. From Kino

I hope Arianna is smart enough to fool Elvis into thinking she doesn’t know anything about Anna’s call as an attempt to stall him long enough to tell Sami the truth so she can get real angry at him, finds Rafe and tells him to get the FBI involved so Sydney can be returned to her.

  8. From mama d

Seriously Days???? Get rid of Carly. Hated her character years ago and currently fast forward through all of her scenes now.

  9. From Sandra

ok, so does anybody know how old Chandler Massey (the new Will) is? Dylan Patten, I thought, was finally beginning to come in to his own with the character of Will. With summer coming on, they are probably going to up the “interaction” between the teenagers. I was wondering if Chandler is 18 or older and this is why wanted him. Dylan is 17 and maybe he wasn’t quite old enough to handle the upcoming storyline. Just no way to get around having teenagers on the show and I don’t mind, as long as the writers keep it clean.

  10. From Missy

actually I,am also ej sami fan as well. this storyline, be might interesting. I, think ej, is smarter then arianna. He,knows that Arianna, wked for the undercover. I, think Ej,is on too her this is What I,think.

  11. From JUDY

Why can’t the stories of Sami and Rafe keep going they make a cute couple. Maybe you should let EJ suffer in his own demise. Also Hope and Bo belong together not Carly and Bo. Carly needs to own up to her actions and pay the pauper. The Vivian Carly storyline is quite good, sounds as though Viv will evenutally get even.

  12. From SARABETH

SINCE HOPE HAS COME TO ACCEPT THAT HER MARRIAGE TO BO HAS DODDERED TO AN END, I WOULD LIKE THE WRITERS TO KNOW THAT MY 43 YEAR RELATIONSHIP WITH DOOL HAS DODDERED TO AN END, TOO. WHY CAN’T WRITE GOOD STORIES FOR A HAPPILY MARRIED COUPLE? WHAT KIND OF EXAMPLE DOES THIS SET? NO WONDER PEOPLE DON’T BELIEVE IN MARRIAGE. WRITERS, YOU BLEW IT.

  13. From SARABETH

SINCE HOPE HAS COME TO ACCEPT HER MARRIAGE TO BO HAS DODDERED TO AN END, I WOULD LIKE THE WRITERS KNOW MY 43 RELATIONSHIP WITH DOOL HAS DODDERED TO AN END. TOO BAD THEY DON’T HAVE ENOUGH CREATIVITY IN THEIR BONES TO WRITE A STORYLIND FOR HAPPILY MARRIED PEOPLE. PERFECT OPPORTUNITY GONE TO WASTE.

  14. From Clear

EJ was there at eh police station, so he knows. Sami looked good for someone so teary, shrill, and out of control–so ridiculous to have to watch her character fall apart like this–hate it!
Troy already wants to kill Ari, and now she is going to figure out EJ has Sydney. Wonder who she will tell about the phone call besides Rafe?

  15. From ejamitogether4ever

#4 I agree… I had fast forwarded through Nicole’s whole stint in jail. It was the most boring waste of time ever.
Glad to hear they may be giving Maggie a juicier story than just being the lady who takes in all the stray teens in town.
Again, EJ and Sami belong together.
They are cut from the same cloth, she will do anything to get what she wants as will he.
As far as EJ being a “drug lord” as many on here like to refer to him as, let us not forget that while disguised as a man, SAmi sold drugs to her own stepfather (john) while he was recovering from a painkiller addiction.

  16. From Precious

EJ is just dispicable the way he flaunts how miserable Sami is not having her daughter!! What a torturous bastard he’s turned into…like father, like son..THIS TIME, I hope Stefano “one-ups” him and gets Sydney back where she belongs..with Sami, NOT EJ!!! I just hope Rafe has caught on to EJ’s not caring attitude and gets the goods on EJ. I can’t believe Sami’s falling for EJ’s crap…she should know better, after all he’s put her through, I would take the kids, ALL OF THEM, and move to tim-buk-too, change my name, and have a hit put out on EJ.

  17. From Marilyn

I thought when they found out about the baby switch that this episode would be over. I can’t believe how they are dragging this out. End it…..enought is enough.

  18. From Kino

    #10 & 11

I agree, Elvis is too far beyond redemption and he’ll never change. Not only that he’s a Dimera, but he’s a drug lord and a rapist. That should’ve been the warning sign, she should’ve heeded by keeping both herself and her children out of his reach. I think Rafe only left Sami because she didn’t trust him to help her find Sydney and that’s what Elvis had wanted all along. I hope Anna rats him out to Arianna over the phone so she can go to Sami and smack some sense into her. That way, she realises that her ex-husband is a snake and very untrustworthy. Then, let the fireworks of anger and betrayal erupt as Sami once more goes back to her spitfire, scheming ways(this time for a good reason) by finding Rafe and tells him to get the FBI involved so they can bring Sydney home. Let’s see how Elvis likes it when his fraud is exposed and Sami smacks him around.

  19. From Ruth

I understand that Nicole has returned to DOOL from her maternity leave. What did she have?? boy or girl??

  20. From amyleigh

Does anyone else think Dr. Dan is the father of Carly’s daughter?

Also even though EJ is dispicable for this whole kidnapping Sydney plot I want to see him and Sami together. Always thought to see them happy about being together would be a good story. Imagine all the drama it would cause!

Also a better revenge plot for Viv than killing Melanie would be to postion herself to be a Mommy figure for Melanie and flaunt the closeness of their relationship to Carly as something she could never have with her(as Vivian will have turned Melanie into as much of a Caryl hater as her and Victor combined). Way better than killing her.

  21. From Millie

I agree with 11 Marilyn; I thought the baby switch story line was finally over. But continues to drag on and on. I think Rafe is leaving because he has seen Sami is getting closer and closer to EJ. I thought Sami was finally growing up and getting wiser but she is dumber.

  22. From Sherlock

I still want to know why it is so easy for anyone to barge into the Dimera household so easy. That is how Sydney got kidnapped by Nicole in the first place. In real life, people could get nowhere near that household.

  23. From Melanie

Anybody else think that Melanie could be Daniel and Carly’s daughter???????

  24. From Sandra

#23..I also think that Dr. Dan might wind up being Melanie’s father. The scene between them yesterday smacked of a father when he told Mel to “start respecting her mother”. And then again, it’s possible that crazy Lawrence might be the father and he wouldn’t believe Carly. I don’t believe that the DNA testing 20 years ago could have proven that she was, after all, Lawrence’s child. W
ith him being so crazy and brutal, it would be no wonder that Carly wanted to get Melanie out of that situation. That being said, I still bet that Dr. Dan will wind up being Mel’s dad.
    # 22…I have totally thought the same thing about “anybody and everybody” just suddenly appearing in the doorway of the Dimera living room. You hit the nail on the head when you said that in real life, people could get nowhere near that house. That is sooo ridiculous!

  25. From Olive

Thank you #18 for bringing up the very important fact that EJ is not only a kidnapper, he is a rapist and a drug lord and I’m sure there’s a murder or two in there somewhere – he’s certainly tried. I just want Rafe to be the one to break this wide open so bad and EJ to go down and go down in flames. Just to watch that smug smile get blown off his face will be worth it all.

  26. From Kino

    #25

Oh yeah. I would love to see Rafe, Brady and Arianna expose Elvis’ fraud to Sami ang get Sydney back to her. Then, she should smack the living hell out of him and send him to jail. What he did was wrong and he doesn’t deserve to be with her. Rafe does and Sami screwed that up by trusting Elvis. He’s torturing her because he wants her to pay for not only keeping him in the dark about the pregnancy, but also for Grace’s death(though she is Mia’s biological daughter, Sami still loved her and gave her a good home). I could understand why from her perspective, he was a Dimera and their lifestyle was dangerous. She wanted her kids to grow up normally, not as criminals. Let Nicole do something good for once. She goes to Chicago, find Anna and KO her so she can take back Sydney and get her to the hospital. Then, she does the right thing by calling Sami to Chicago and apologizes for what she had done to her by giving back her daughter.
