Even with Franco gone, things go from bad to worse.
Jason and Dante both raced across town to save the women they loved. Jason arrived just in time, but it turned out that the bomb Sam was sitting on was a dud all along. Dominic wasn’t so lucky. As he ran into the warehouse to save Lulu, it blew up. He managed to save her and help her outside where Jason had arrived and Lucky was ready to beat him for letting his sister die. Spinelli and Maxie waited for news across town and bonded as they did. Sonny and Olivia heard about the explosions and raced over as well. When Johnny arrived, he heard the rescue workers saying that they’d just discovered a woman’s body. He assumed it must be Claudia’s. Jason began to get raw while worrying about Franco’s final threats. Sam tried to reassure him, but Sonny was less compassionate. As the boss hammered at him for being weak, Carly showed up to defend him. She gave Jason a pep talk. Meanwhile, Maxie tried to make things up to Lulu by giving her an expensive bag and then joined with Spinelli as he ran around town getting rid of Franco’s graffiti. Jill, Esther and Murphy secretly snatched a saliva sample from Jo-Jo for a DNA test. Tucker closed a big deal for Chancellor Enterprises, helped make Cane Vice President of the company then met with Jo-Jo to inform her they were now ready for the next phase of their plan. Later, Jill accepted the DNA results, which proved Jo-Jo was not Kay’s daughter then was stumped when Jo-Jo said Jill would soon find out why Jo-Jo’s work there was done. Meanwhile, Tucker announced to Kay and Neil, at the stockholder’s meeting, that he owned 100% of the new company’s shares, was now the major stockholder of Chancellor and Kay’s son!
