Jana has done her fair share of holding people against their will, in her past, but now she’s going to find herself the victim. You guessed it… Jana’s snooping into Daisy and Ryder’s past lands her detained at a secret location, unconscious with Ryder and Daisy looking down at her! Meanwhile, Kevin has his hands full when he tries to warn Lauren that something is up with Daisy. Lauren thinks Daisy’s a good kid, but Kevin reminds her that he thought the same thing about Ryder…
At Casa DiMera, EJ tells Sami to keep up hope. She asks Rafe how long it will take forensics to confirm things. He makes a call. Sami cries; she can’t even talk about what’s happening. Elvis attempts to reassure her and accuses Rafe of upsetting them pointlessly. Sami tries to be optimistic. She weeps into Elvis’ shirt. He suppresses a smirk. Rafe returns with no news. Sami asks EJ to tell her some Syd stories. Rafe suddenly gets a call saying that the results are in. DNA tests confirm that it’s Syd’s blood on the clothes. Sami sits down and cries. “So sorry,” Rafe offers. He promises to find out who is responsible for this. She doesn’t care about that; she just wants her back. As Sami sobs, EJ fantasizes about Syd’s new life. Sami’s tears shake him out of it. They rehash everything that’s gone wrong. Sami starts blaming Rafe for this. Read the rest of this entry »
Sonny’s court case looms but he may have more problems to face.
While Lucky is busy telling Maxie how he really feels about Elizabeth and Nikolas is trying to hurry along a paternity test, Luke worries about his other son. Luke’s concern is raised over Ethan after he discovers that his son has started working with Johnny in his bid to disrupt the Cornithos criminal empire. Luke’s warning won’t do much to dismay him though, not once Johnny has given him a tantalizing offer. This soon leads to a confrontation with Jason, but Johnny refuses to back down. GH’s Tristan Rogers (former Robert Scorpio) will be taking part in a panel discussion about the changes in soap operas.
Rogers will be offering his insights alongside those of three co-editors of an upcoming book about the history and future of soaps at the 50th annual meeting of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies in Los Angeles. “The Survival of the Soap Opera: Transformations for a New Media Era” will be published later this year. Robin Christopher will be returning as Skye Chandler Quartermaine beginning on March 31.
Annie Ilonzeh has been cast as Maya Ward, the great granddaughter of Edward Quartermaine. She comes to town to take an internship at GH. Her little sister, Zoe, will appear later.
Lindze Letherman will be returning briefly as Georgie. Since the character died in December 2007, she will be back as a ghost and giving some advice to her sister, Maxie (Kirsten Storms). She will return on March 26.
Bradley Cole will be coming to town as Keifer’s dad, Warren, on March 17.
Kiefer’s mother, Melinda Bauer, will be played by Lisa Waltz. She will also make her first appear on March 17.
Scott Reeves has been placed on contract as Dr. Steven Webber.
Jan Devereaux will be appearing as Iris starting on March 5.
