I doubt Melanie will forgive Carly anytime soon. I think in a way Vivian did get her revenge by turning her family against her. I think she needs to leave her daughter alone for a while, move out of Bo’s house and leave town for a while. As Carly prepares to leave town, Melanie begins having awful flashbacks and remembers how creepy Vivian behaved around her. She tried to kill her by tossing her off the ledge and realises that Carly never intended to shoot her.
