Variety has announced that two networks are in negotiations with the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) to air this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards show. As of right now, should this come to pass, the show will tentatively be held at the Las Vegas Hilton on Sunday June 27. Stay tuned for further details…

This year’s Daytime Emmy Nominations will be released on May 12, as all judges will have to have their final ballots in no later than April 26.

For those wondering if the Daytime Emmys will air this year, we still don’t have anything set in stone. However, President of Worldwide Media and Entertainment Jim Romanovich recently stated, “Daytime Emmys-there is already a television broadcast set pending the agreement with NATAS.” Stay tuned!

Charles Shaughnessy will be returning to the cast of Days of Our Lives .

Jaime Lyn Bauer (Laura Horton), Christie Clark (Carrie Brady), Roark Critchlow (Mike Horton), Maree Cheatham (Marie Horton), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson), Patsy Pease (Kimberly Brady), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton Devereaux) and Lisa Trusel (Melissa Anderson) are all currently expected to return for Alice’s funeral.

The prison visit continues as Nicole makes Anna twist up like a pretzel.
