The Young and the Restless actress Melody Thomas Scott, who has played the role of Nikki Newman since 1979, told the Sydney Confidential about her plans to write a tell all autobiography about her childhood.
Raised by her grandmother, Melody feels as though she wants to open up more about her troubled upbringing. She even credits her Daytime role as the reason for her ongoing existence. She will touch base on the fact that she hasn’t talked to her mother in 25 years and how it was to live with her grandmother, who incidentally was a compulsive hoarder.
Blame is place on one woman, while two brothers continue their rivalry.
They seem to be getting along as of late, but we all know Neil and Malcolm’s issues run deep. Look for the brothers to get into an argument. Will it be over Lily’s paternity or will some blame be thrown into the mix? In the end, they both agree it’s best to put their issues aside for Lily’s sake.
With no end in sight to her cancer, Lily begins to worry for her babies. She reminds Cane that their children could grow up without a mother. Wanting to cheer Lily up, Cane surprises Lily with a visit from her Aunt Olivia. Can Olivia give Lily the reassurance she needs? But wait… Olivia gets a surprise of her own when she comes face to face with her ex-husband and finds out Malcolm is back in town. Remember when Malcolm told Neil and Lily that Olivia was the one who told him about Lily’s cancer? He’s going to have some explaining to do when Olivia makes it clear she hasn’t seen Malcolm in years!
