Come out to the California Strawberry Festival.

On Saturday May 15 come out to see The Young and the Restless’ Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) as she and 2010 Miss Teen California International’s Dedria Brunett judge the two final contestants at the California Strawberry Festival Berry Blast Off. The event will take place at the Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard, California and will benefit various Southland charities.

The contestants will have a 60 minute face-off to prepare and present their favorite strawberry dishes before a crowd of onlookers. Kate will have a hand in determining which contestant takes home the grand prize: a four-night Carnival Cruise vacation getaway, compliments of Shell Vacations Club.

“I wonder if there is such a thing as a sweet and sour Strawberry preparation,” says Kate Linder. “If it exists I would love to sample it.”

Sami does her best to pick up his spirits and they share another of their close moments, which Stefano just happens to interrupt. After he walks away gagging, Will shows up to ruin the mood again. “What is up with you and EJ, Mom?” he asks Sami. As she searches for explanations, Stefano takes his son aside to repeat how much trouble they could be in if Agent Hernandez is on the trail of Anna. “Then you and Samantha will be finished… forever,” Stefano points out.
