DNA results came in, Lauren and Jana were rescued, Nick and Victor were released and one couple said goodbye…

Jack showed Ashley Emily’s Diary, who wondered if Emily was really Patty. Jack confronted his wife with the diary and asked, “How’d you do it, Patty?” She claimed it was ‘Patty’s’ diary. Later, Jack brought home a kitty and secretly watched as Patty comfortably cuddled it. Knowing Emily was allergic to cats Jack knew for sure that she was Patty. However, just when Paul, Heather and Jack got the DNA proof that ‘Patty’ was Emily, Patty dyed her hair blonde, left a note claiming she’d been Patty and was leaving Genoa City then traded places with Emily! With the real Emily in a morgue, tagged as Jane Doe, Jack arrived to rescue his wife. Patty, as Emily once again, told Jack how horrific the whole ‘switch ordeal’ had been!

Betty White (ex-Ann, The Bold and the Beautiful) has added yet another acting job to her resume: ABC’s family sitcom “The Middle.”

White will appear in the season finale as a librarian who is after the show’s youngest family member, Brick, to return his books. Betty’s episode airs on May 19.
