On Friday August 27 former Young and the Restless actor David Hasselhoff (ex-Dr. Snapper Foster) will host the CW special “The Gulf Is Back” at 8:00 PM EST. The one-hour special will feature a tribute concert to include such stars as Lonestar, Ricky Skaggs, Bo Bice, Taylor Hicks, Ace Young, Kyle and Chris Massey, Terri Clark, Drake Bell, Brian McKnight, Dean Cain, Shannon Elizabeth, BB King, and more to come.
Along with the music and guest appearances viewers will watch footage accompanied by stories surrounding how Gulf residents are trying to bounce back from the oil spill.
For those who miss seeing the talented young actress who used to play Abby Carlton, you’ll be able to see Darcy Rose Byrnes on a more permanent basis on one of the hottest shows in the Primetime lineup! Darcy has been cast on “Desperate Housewives” to play Lynette’s (Felicity Huffman) young daughter in the upcoming seventh season.

Hollywood Insider is reporting that one time teen star Christopher Knight will be doing a guest role on B&B.

While he continues on his downward spiral of self-destruction, Maggie is sure to promise Brady that she won’t abandon him in his time of need, even if he seems to be abandoning all sense. Meanwhile, although Hope has cracked out of her drug addled crime spree and is willing to do her penance for her crimes, no one around her seems willing to let that happen.
