Lauralee Bell has wrapped up taping and will last air on September 28 when Christine decides it’s time to head back to Washington DC.
Former As the World Turns actor Paul Leyden has been cast to play Blake. Paul will tape his first scenes on September 7 and appear in Genoa City on October 6.
Susan Olsen plays Mrs. Morton on September 1.
Jerry Douglas will reappear as John’s ghost on September 2.
Days Of Our Lives stars Mark Hapka (Nathan Horton) and Molly Burnett (Melanie Kiriakis) parody soap operas in this skit from their work with ACME comedy.
Skye is losing her grip on Adam and looks to someone new to help further her agenda. Will Billy agree to put Skye on the cover of Restless Style? He sure does! Billy is no idiot and knows that Newman drama sells, which he explains to his wife.
Speaking of Victoria… She still hasn’t forgiven Daddy Dearest for destroying her wedding. Like she hasn’t had enough of them, right? Just saying… Anyways, the two end up in yet another heated argument. Will this finally be the last straw to end all ties between this father and daughter duo? That may be the least of Victoria’s worries after she doubles over in pain.
In Rome, Jason is with Brenda as she recovers from her drugging. He convinces her it’s time to head back to Port Charles. Back in town, Carly tries to talk Sam into dragging Jason away from Brenda. Carly then puts her focus back on ruining Lulu and Dante’s lives. When Jason returns to town with Brenda, she elects to stay away from Sonny, but Jason dreads having to continue dealing with her. While she panics about Stefano’s suspicions, Kate starts to fantasize about poisoning her husband before he can go after Will. That won’t have to happen though since he receives DNA evidence that young William wasn’t the shooter. She immediately runs off to her grandson and pleads with him again to tell her all that he knows. Simultaneously, Sami does her best to convince Rafe that her son is innocent. To prove it, she comes close to confessing but he gets called off to work before she can. Meanwhile, Stefano heads back to the hospital and urges Elvis to wake up so he can just put the blame on Sami and get it over with.
