Felecia returned to town just in time for Taylor to announce to the family that Stephanie had stage four lung cancer. Meanwhile, Stephanie checked herself into the hospital and asked that she have surgery immediately. As she waited, she told Dayzee about her plans to help the homeless. Then Brooke came by to offer her support and promise to be there for her. After the surgery, the rest of the family showed up and learned that the matriarch had part of her lung removed and would be in an uphill battle.
