Soap Opera 2010 Halloween Screen Shots!
A few of our soaps took the time to celebrate my favorite holiday. Halloween! Let’s get a look at a few great screen captures my writing staff was able to take during Halloweek!
At the masquerade party you saw beautiful Abby who dressed up as Lady Gaga for Billy’s Halloween bash on The Young and The Restless. Her pal Daniel, soon to be Da-da, went with her as Vincent Van Gogh. We saw Victoria as a Playboy model and Billy strut around in his smoking jacket as a young Heff.
An obviously uninvited and very pregnant Daisy wormed her way into Billy’s party to spy on Lauren and Jana and we guess Daniel too. What does this psycho got up her sleeve now? Are you glad to see her back causing havoc or would you prefer she glue Adam’s bus ticket back together and take the first bus out? Great costume for Daisy.
Abe and Theo visited the Pumpkin Patch in Salem and took home a treasure. Kinsey and Sydney also visited this hot spot in Salem. Of course we weren’t privy to it. We can watch Denise Richards, Gwen Stefani and Tori Spelling bring their kids to the Los Angeles pumpkin patch but in Salem it’s a private affair. Appointment only. Salem didn’t have any parties or trick-or-treating. No witch burning to behold.
Hannah tells Hope Mommy’s going bye-bye and then demands that James and Starr dig their own graves. This is no Halloween prank. This psycho really did this right in front of that innocent, sweet child, Hope. Perhaps One Life to Live is the scariest show this week. Spookier than “Paranormal 2.” It was good to see Gigi randomly interrupted by the door bell to hand candy out to the children of Llanview. The scene with Cole handing out candy was really cute. “Hatty Halloween,” says the kiddo. So sweet.
All My Children was probably the only soap that went all out this year for Halloween. Krystal was in costume, Kendall and Zach took the boys trick or treating at Krystal’s with Opal, they had AJ handing out candy at the door and a twist when a person in a werewolf mask – Asher – led AJ to see his daddy. We saw a ghostly shadow watching Zach and Kendall…
Over in Port Charles, on General Hospital, Patrick considers it’s best if he doesn’t interrupt Emma’s Halloween. Robin dresses as a witch and dresses Emma as a little lamb. Unfortunatly come Monday something shocking will happen… we won’t give it away here but you’ll want to watch!
What are your thoughts on some of the soaps celebrating Halloween this year? Was it to your liking or could there have been less or more going on?
