Brenda knocked Dante out and ran off to the warehouse to get in the way of the phony kidnapping. Dante chased after her and tried to rescue her from one of the Balkan’s men. She ended up shooting the guy. Lucky and the others came out and freaked. Dante and Jason took Brenda down to the station to make a statement. Taylor turns to Whip to voice her never ending worries about what Brooke might do with Thomas. This is soon to be pushed to extremes when Brooke agrees to go along with Thomas’ shocking publicity stunt so that his new men’s line can try and get back some of the spotlight that Hope stole from him. Network grants the show a new contract.

At the Saturday party marking Days of Our Lives historic 45th anniversary, Executive Producer Ken Corday announced that the series has been renewed for another two years. According to Soap Opera Digest, this means that NBC has agreed to run it until September 2013. Read the rest of this entry »

Victor married, Daisy was arrested and Viki was devastated…

Heather accepted a check from Victor and Billy accused her of allowing Victor to buy his way out of jail. After he published an article about it, Heather was forced to drop out of the race.

Meggie planted Vodka at the rehab for Deacon, who turned it over to the staff. Nikki was furious to learn Victor barred Vikki from visiting her then cried on Deacon’s shoulder. Victor later kissed Meggie, who had previously sifted through a safe deposit box containing a photo of Murphy and his son, some vials and Viagra, and agreed to take a vacation. She drugged Victor into thinking she was Nikki and they eloped in Vegas! Upon their quick return, Meggie tried to kill Victor with an overdose of Viagra. However, while Nikki fell into Deacon’s arms after seeing their wedding photo online, Victor savagely let Meggie know he was onto her!
