Back and forth!

Last week when The Young and the Restless veteran actor Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) didn’t appear for a return guest starring role on “How I Met Your Mother,” Neil Patrick Harris, who stars on the show as Barney Stinson, tweeted, “Eric Braeden is a D-Bag. The actor, (Robin’s dad) agreed to a cameo, then last night bailed, saying the part wasn’t ‘substantial’ enough.”

You can bet a little Victor Newman came out in Eric, who had this response during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, “I really don’t know who that fellow is. He’s a guy who stars in that series. It’s very unfortunate. First of all, I came back from hip surgery. I was off for three weeks. I’ve doubled my work, 30 to 50 pages a day for me, alone. Everyone knows that I’m exhausted. I was not about to appear on a show for two lines, because that’s what it amounted to.”

Everyone gathered together for the latest Taboo show with Whip waiting smugly in the wings. Over the phone, he told Aggie that he was going to give Ridge a wakeup call for messing with his marriage. He slipped backstage and swiped some of Thomas and Brooke’s outfits. As they ran around half naked looking for them, he snapped a shot of them. The photo quickly popped up on the internet and Ridge saw it. Meanwhile, Whip dug it up on the Taboo site and showed it to Taylor, who promptly flipped and rushed off to confront everyone involved. She ranted at Ridge and her son, who insisted it was nothing, and the publicity was great for sales. She stormed off and then Brooke begged for Ridge’s forgiveness (again). Getting in the holiday mood.

As the Spencer party gets hopping, watching Liam interact with all of the new people crowding into his life gives Hope the impression that he is going to be sucked out of her life. Pretty soon, Amber is following Liam home so that she can try her hand, and anything else necessary, at seducing him. The next day he wakes up in bed with her and some convenient amnesia about the previous night’s frolics. Whatever they did, it took long enough for him to miss some calls from Hope. Brenda love, Brenda bashing and the Balkan revealed.

Sonny and Brenda went out to a cabin and made love. Meanwhile, Dante told Jason about his feelings for Brenda and worried about how to get over them. Steve informed them that Aleksander’s body was being released so they went to stakeout the scene. Jerry Jacks soon arrived for the body. As he signed for it, he called Jason out of hiding, after taunting him about Brenda, he shot the morgue attendant and sped off.
