General Hospital Poll: The Verdict On Michael’s Story.

A job well done?

Michael is finally going to break down and open up about what really happened to him in Pentonville. Male on male rape is a pretty rarely broached topic on soap operas, do you think that the writers actually handled it well?

  1. From Chrissy

I thought the scenes between Michael and Carly about Abby, when he stood up for himself, were beautifully written. I also liked how Chad and Steve played out the reveal he had been raped. The writers CAN write, however, it hasn’t been consistent. I fear with budget cuts and lack of quality, GH is heading for a huge fall. They need to give writers enough time to plan s/l’s better and stay true to each character. They need to give Ethan a direction, Kristina a direction, even Johnny needs a direction- DEVELOPMENT! Maya didn’t work, b/c they never developed her. Just stuck her with the Q’s with nothing more substantial. The marriage for money was a stupid idea, didn’t work and while I do like mystery/crime stories, they need to streamline better…instead of bringing in newbies, use the cast you have- GH has one of the best casts in daytime- hell on tv! They just don’t have anyone at the helm taking the time to execute proper s/l’s….:)
