The Young and the Restless actor Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) had a bit of a mishap over the weekend while the Soap Cruise: The Fourth Voyage docked in Cozumel, Mexico. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Daniel was involved in an accident after renting a moped, which resulted in minor injuries to his face and leg.
Not to worry fans, though he had to be put on crutches, Daniel was okay and still able to greet his fans during the cruise’s final events. Soap Opera Fan Blog wishes Daniel a quick recovery! Did you know anyone who was on the cruise? Vote in our poll to let us know…

I have watched y and r for 25 yrs and I am so mad right now that cane died on todays show, I am really gonna stop watching this show. I watch it to relax after working all day and this is such a disappointment. I am so mad and young right now!!

Bring Cane back! This show has been a total let down! I can not believe the script writers who think it is a good script to keep the Lily character crying all the time. Cane and Lily were my favorite characters. After Thursday’s show, I did not even watch Friday’s show. I am trying to look elsewhere for other soaps on other channels. Bring Cane back as you have brought back less popular character roles. Sheila Carter, Daisy, Ryder, Meggie, Phillip, Deacon, Malcolm, Jana, Heather characters all make me look at a another channel.

Every time the storry get good you take someone off. bring Daniel Goddard back.Him and Lilly made the show. You can bring him back to life before they start the funeral. You can say they didn’t hear the heart beat. With his Injury that would play in the story good
