As more people start to turn against Victor, Abby admits to Ashley that she blames herself for everything Victor’s losing. Victor senses Abby’s guilt and tries to manipulate her. As loyalties within the Newman family are tested, Michael pleads with Nick to make amends. Nikki takes a stand and decides that someone has to have the sense to stop the lawsuit. Will an agreement finally be made that works for everyone involved?

For some mysterious reason, it took Jason and his crack team of detectives until the last few hours of hunting for the Balkan to do some of the more obvious things like checking DNA records. In Ireland, Lucky and Siobhan walked into an ambush and she had to fake double crossing him to get them out of it. He wasn’t thrilled with her recklessness and then received a call from the Balkan. They then rushed off with enough hints to find her sister. As they tried to get her free, the Balkan’s men started shooting at them. Back in Port Charles, Lulu took Dante to the opera for Valentine’s Day. Afterwards, he tried convincing her to stay the night but she refused as much as she could. Bill continues to come apart at the seams thanks to Liam’s condition. He begins demanding that Amber be arrested for his son’s brush with death. While he is barking and making threats, Amber is sitting at Liam’s bedside sobbing and wishing that none of this had ever happened. She’s so distraught that she says a lot more than she should. Dr. Montgomery informed everyone that Liam was the father of Amber’s child. Everyone was furious and hissed at Amber. She went home to her mom who was thrilled that their plan was working. Amber moped about how everyone hated her and then advised her mom to leave town in case Bill figured things out. Across town, Bill told his son that they should write Amber a check and tell her to get rid of the kid. Liam was uncomfortable with that. Things got worse for him when Hope admitted that things could never be the same between them again. Brooke advised her daughter to dump Liam and walk away. Bill heard this and was outraged.
