General Hospital: Nominations For The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

“General Hospital” leads the pack this year with the most nominations of any soap at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy awards. The official list of nominations was released today with the action in Port Charles garnering the top nod for Outstanding Drama Series.

Maurice Benard (Sonny) received an Outstanding Lead Actor nomination, Laura Wright (Carly) was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress while Jonathan Jackson (Lucky) and Jason Thompson (Patrick) were both recognized in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category. Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) got the nod for Outstanding Supporting Actress, her onscreen daughter Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina) received the Outstanding Younger Actress nomination and Chad Duell (Michael) got the Outstanding Younger Actor nomination.
