Sweeping along or dragging their feet?

We’ve been going through May sweeps, but a lot of people think that the show has just been dragging along. Between the baby chasing, the baby wanting, the baby paternity issues, the baby custody battles and trying to end a marriage or break an addiction, there doesn’t seem to be that much else going on. Ridge is already too busy trying to help Brooke deal with it after all. She continues to have flashbacks about her drug addled adventure which may or may not be leading her to the truth of what went down. When her husband tries getting her to open up so he can probe her, she gets anxious and asks that he make a special promise. Liz cried to Lucky about Jake and then left. He sobbed to Siobhan about his dead son as they ate cake. Siobhan then dropped in on Liz and accidentally uncovered the DNA results. The Irish woman quickly scurried home. After she and Lucky consummated their marriage, he went for a stroll, bumping into his dad and asking him not to get himself killed. Meanwhile, Maxie kept fretting about spilling the beans, that is until she knocked over Matt’s jacket and found a ring in his pocket.
