Recently our sister site Soaps.com sat down with former “The Young And The Restless” writer Tom Casiello to talk about his start in Daytime, who his favorite characters to write for were, and his new job with the “WWE.”
Soaps.com: Which were your favorite characters to write for? Why?
Tom: On “Y&R,” I loved any time I got to write the four Abbott siblings together. I just love their dynamic, and getting a chance to show all four of them in a different light – where it’s not all about Jabot or Newman necessarily, but about the fact that they all grew up in a house together – pulled each other’s hair and opened Christmas presents and fought over who would get the last croissant or whatever.
RJ pops up to see his mother, though no one bothered to tell him about the jet crash that nearly killed her. That’s not the only thing that isn’t coming out in the open. Brooke is having trouble talking about what happened and explaining her distressed feelings. Ridge barely notices. He’s busy realizing that getting stranded on an island and then getting wasted with Brooke is all that is required to get ahead at Forrester and declares that Thomas will have a new role at the company. It’s not all good for Thomas though. His sister keeps badgering him to spill about what happened when he was alone with Brooke. Read the rest of this entry »
Ridge and Taylor closed in on the remnants of the jet. However, the broader search started to be scaled back because officials feared it was too late. The Forresters and Logans began to panic and cry. Dayzee clung to the belief that Thomas was still alive. Nick and Bill tried to keep hope alive and comforted the women close by. Bill continued to pan the beaches with his cameras and soon discovered “HELP” written on one of them. He called Ridge to tip him off and he sailed out in pursuit. Read the rest of this entry »
Lucian went missing right under Brenda’s nose. Sonny and Suzanne started throwing blame at each other. While Brenda freaked, Dante’s suspicions fell on Suzanne. He had no evidence to back them up, but told his father about them anyway. Meanwhile, Suzanne took off with the child.
