Though CBS’ “The Bold And The Beautiful” and “The Young And The Restless,” as well as NBC’s “Days Of Our Lives,” will air new episodes on Monday May 30, all ABC soaps will be pre-empted for the Memorial Day holiday.
CBS Soaps In Depth is reporting that “The Young And The Restless” actress Maura West, who took over the role of Diane Jenkins on October 8, 2010, has been let go. There is no word on when Maura will last air or if the show plans to recast the role.

You can catch “Days Of Our Lives” star Bren Foster (Quinn) guest starring on Primetime this week. The actor has a featured role in the new Cinemax series, “Femme Fatales.” The show is inspired by the film noir genre and updates classic pulp stories by placing them in a contemporary setting. The 4th Annual Rick Springfield & Friends Cruise is getting set to sail. The cruise will be featuring several special guests, including Doug Davidson (Paul) from “The Young and the Restless,” Jack Wagner (Nick) from “The Bold and the Beautiful” and onetime MTV VJ Mark Goodman. She pushes herself over the top to try and impress him. Since she originally caught his undivided attention by bending over in front of him on a chair and then landing on his face, how can she kick it up a notch? Her seduction doesn’t work out quite the way she was expecting and she wonders how she could have made such an ass of herself.
