The Young And The Restless Fires Maura West As Diane Jenkins?
CBS Soaps In Depth is reporting that “The Young And The Restless” actress Maura West, who took over the role of Diane Jenkins on October 8, 2010, has been let go. There is no word on when Maura will last air or if the show plans to recast the role.

Never liked Diane but really liked Maura West…too bad they gave her the Diane role. Diane does not stay long in GC

I feel getting rid of Maura is a mistake. she plays this very well. At times i do my own kind of writing of the show…she makes y&R interesting to fire her was a mistake..also, to change the lily factor ( you need to have him fall for lilly and change his mean ways) this will bring more viewers..so he can bring down the father!!!!. what would really bring the ratings up really high would be to get drucella back into lillys world now…… also to let billy go is another mistake….hippie linda
