Tamara Braun is leaving Salem behind and returning to her old haunt Port Charles. Braun (Ex-Taylor) was recently cut from the cast of “Days Of Our Lives” but she has been snapped up by the people at “General Hospital.” Fans will remember that she played the role of Carly Corinthos from 2001-2005. ABC Soaps In Depth has confirmed that she will be back, but it won’t be as Carly. A whole new character is being created for the award winning actress. Expect to see her appear this fall. Great news fans! CBS Soaps In Depth is reporting that Billy just signed a one year deal to stay on at “The Young And The Restless!”

Billy’s fellow castmate Michael Muhney (Adam Newman) spoke during an interview with TV Guide about how much he’s going to miss Billy when he leaves the show. Though CBS refuses to comment on Billy’s show status, given Michael’s statement, it appears the actor will indeed be leaving Genoa City and Billy Abbott behind.

Though there is speculation that Billy may still be able to come to a contract agreement with the show, a CBS rep tells Soap Opera Fan Blog, “We cannot comment on any actors’ ongoing contract negotiations with the show. We have all seen the item in various magazines and websites, but Billy has mentioned nothing to us. If and when it is official we will let you know.”

Adam and Jack have their own ways of trying to take Victor down and move to make that happen. As Genevieve spies Jack giving someone an order to start buying up Newman stock, Nick and Michael are stunned when reports come in that Victor has died. Adam buys up a ton of stock as well.
Meanwhile, Victor has his hands full with Diane. She refuses to put on a fetal monitor in the ambulance, which causes Victor to become suspicious. Diane admits she’s coming at Victor where it hurts, through his business. He decides to deal with her once and for all and throws Diane out of the moving ambulance.
