Lucky and Liz arrive at Wyndemere only to find the prince gone. They worry that he may have absconded from Port Charles with their son. However, a quick search around town soon leads to Nikolas. He has a bit of a change of heart. While he’s sure that Liz is still lying, he decides to hand Aiden over to the parents anyway. This is all too much for him so he leaves town with Spencer. It looks like this Fourth of July could be a boring one in Salem. All of the festivities in town are canceled because of rain. With most of the adults busy trying to destroy each other’s lives, Will, Gabi, Abby, Mel and Kinsey decide that they might as well just hang out at the pub and watch a movie. After Abby leaves this hot bed of intrigue, her mom opens up to her about a big secret. This could be the secret she’s been keeping about Carly since the doctor gets even more jittery than usual after she’s confronted about her pill popping and powder sniffing. Jack and Adam may not be worried about Victor’s backlash, but Diane continues to be, especially after Leslie warns her that things aren’t looking good. Leslie isn’t so sure she can get Diane off on the charges against her. Diane tries to right one wrong and recants her testimony in Ashley’s case then goes another round with Adam over Victor.
