Sharon met Piper’s father and became uncomfortable to learn he was a US Marshal. Later, she hurt her leg and refused hospital care. Sam demanded to know what was going on with her. Sharon admitted she’d been running from mistakes of her past, which led to Sam kissing her.
The house clearing at “Days Of Our Lives” is continuing. Today, it was revealed that Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe) as well as newcomers Tamara Braun (Taylor) and Bren Foster (Quinn) have been cut from the cast. TV Guide is reporting that Jessica Collins will be joining the cast of “The Young And The Restless” beginning on July 27 as Avery Clark. The character is described as a high-powered attorney hired by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to represent Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Soap opera fans may remember Jessica from her previous Daytime role as “Loving’s” Dinah Lee Mayberry. She also has had various guest-starring Primetime roles and has appeared in a few films.

“The Young and the Restless” actress Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) has been cast in the upcoming film “Hell and Mr. Fudge,” which will be shot in Alabama. Former “One Life To Live” actor John Wesley Shipp (ex-Eddie Ford) will appear as her onscreen husband. Eileen teased through her Facebook page, “I play Mr. Fudge’s mom. They’re taking me from age 30 to 60.”
