CBS Soaps In Depth is reporting Jessica Heap has been cast in the role of Eden Baldwin, previously played by Vanessa Marano, on “The Young And The Restless.” The actress will first appear, giving the character a slightly older look, on Tuesday June 28.
Jessica’s more recent credits include “CSI: Miami,” “Battle: Los Angeles,” and “Sinners and Saints,” which also cast Sean Patrick Flanery (Sam).

Vanessa Marano needs to come back, but ive tracked her down & she plays a great character in “Switched at Birth” as Bay Kinnish. after shes done filming that, i wish she would go back and do y&r…the girl that they just recasted as Eden looks like shes in her late 20′s and Noah still looks like a teenager…its NOT a good match up AT ALL, considering they’re reuniting in y&r. They need to cast actresses better…just like they did with the Abby character & the Heather character…They Suck at recasting y&r actresses!!
