Former “The Young And The Restless” actor Carlos Bernard, who played Rafael Delgado in 1999, has been cast on “CSI: Miami.” TV Guide is reporting that he’ll play opposite David Caruso as his character’s wealthy nemesis. Think Donald Trump meets the Kennedys.
Fan who don’t remember, Rafael was the step-brother of Ashley (Eileen Davidson). She rescued him in Madrid and bought back stolen paintings he sold to unsuspecting people. He had a fling with Victoria (played then by Heather Tom) but nothing came from it. Carlos also played on “Sunset Beach” as an intern and appeared on the hit “24″ for nine years as Tony Almeida. You can catch the actor in the upcoming remake of “Charlie’s Angels.”
Though Carlos’ character has yet to be named, look for him to appear on “CSI: Miami” in late October after the new season returns to CBS on Sunday September 25 at 10:00 PM. Vote in Soap Opera Fan Blog’s poll to let us know if you remember Carlos’ “Y&R” character…
