Sonny returned to town and trashed the room he shared with Brenda. Robin showed up to defend her friend’s decision and hand him a letter his wife left behind. The mob boss continued to stew. Jason arrived and offered him the chance to get things off his chest. Sonny moaned until Stone Cold advised him to start taking his pills again. Backing down.

Taylor told Katie that Bill was planning to leave her for Steffy. She refused to believe it. When Bill arrived, she confronted him with the accusation. He confessed. Katie flew into a rage and was so upset she collapsed. He rushed her to the hospital as Steffy was busy boasting to Liam about being his future step-mom. Getting stabbed in the back.

When Taylor tells Ridge that Steffy has been mixing it up with Bill, he’s appalled. The fact that Bill is married to his sister-in-law is particularly nausea inducing. He refuses to accept that Dollar Bill could be truly smitten with Steffy and imagines it must be some sort of Spencer conspiracy. Steffy tries to convince her dad that she and Bill are the real deal. Coming from L.A.

Actor Peter Porte has been cast in the role of Ricky Williams, according to Soap Opera Digest. Ricky is the son of Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Isabella (Eva Longoria), whose parents have been raising Ricky in Los Angeles since she was sent to jail for the attempted murder of Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). The character will first be seen in Genoa City on September 13.

Sad news.

Actor Francesco Quinn, whom “Y&R” viewers will remember as Tomas Del Cerro, a man who was involved with Nina (Tricia Cast), has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 48, according to People. Reports say that Francesco was outside running with his son Max when he collapsed of an apparent heart attack. The actor, who is the son of film actor, Anthony Quinn, was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Francesco leaves behind a wife and three children.

Soap Opera Fan Blog sends condolences to Francesco’s loved ones at this sad time.

Diane put her plan into motion, Ronan returned, and Billy was arrested…

Billy ended up arrested after a fight with Victor at the club. After Billy and Victoria made love, he left and boarded a plane without saying goodbye.

Kyle called Jack from Switzerland, only to have the call cut off. Diane made her rounds pissing off various Genoa City residents. Adam deposited money into an account for Diane in exchange for her recanting her statement. Diane assured Kyle she’d join him soon then sent everyone texts to meet her at the footbridge. Everyone left to meet Diane without telling anyone else then rejoined those they left earlier. Murphy, who’d been fishing, found Diane murdered and informed the authorities.
