The subject of strange bedfellows comes up, which leads Phyllis to ask Nick what’s going on between him and Ashley. Meanwhile, Ashley goes to Ronan and admits that she and Nick have a confession to make. It may not be what you think… Nick and Ashley lie to cover their butts, as well as Tucker’s and Phyllis’. When Nick seeks out Phyllis to discuss the murder case, he finds her and Deacon mid-kiss. Nick wonders if Phyllis wants him to break up the kiss or if she’s acting out to make him jealous. Paul goes on to confront Deacon with a warning. If he knows anything, he’d better come forward now. Meanwhile, when new evidence surfaces it makes Adam appear guilty.

End of summer meeting.
