Racing up the mountain.

After getting wind that Hope was on her way up the mountain to surprise Liam, Steffy starts pulling out all of the stops to cut off her virginal rival. She calls in some help from Bill, who is happy to use everything at his disposal. Hope is left with the far less extensive help of Rick. Bill and Justin rub their hands together and smile about what a wicked scheme they’ve hatched. Liam told his father that he was now engaged to Steffy. He thanked him for sending her to drive him home. Bill encouraged him to take Steffy and get out of town to avoid Hope. Meanwhile, Steffy happily broke it to Hope that she was now wearing Liam’s engagement ring. Hope thought she was desperate trash and refused to give up the man she just dumped so easily. Steffy called Bill to consult about the next stage of their plan and warn him about Hope. The blond stalked into his office just as he was ordering another party for his son. He told Hope that her time with Liam was over. She demanded to know where his son was. At the hospital, Steve informed Olivia and Lulu that Dante would have a long road to recovery. Outside, Sonny cried to Kate about Dante getting shot in the same spot Michael was. She urged him to prove he could be a good father. Lulu went to the loft to drink. Olivia showed up to give her a pep talk. The blond returned to Dante and agreed to marry him, but only if they kept it a secret for now. She started having mixed feelings and wouldn’t keep her ring on.
