The life lessons continued in the town of Salem this week. Rafe learned that corruption only works when you’re a Brady and that Sami is far more tolerable after you’ve had a few beers. Austin discovered that if you tell a woman you are extremely excited, then drop your towel and it falls straight to the floor without hitting any interference, she’ll immediately leave the country. John discovered that Marlena’s shoulder pads have magically transformed her shoulders into her body’s largest erogenous zone. Jack takes Jenn to the pub. He explains that it’s closed for a private party… for them. He shows her in and points to a table covered with cookies and decorations. He explains they are part of their date. They’re going to decorate them and give them to children in the hospital for Halloween. She’s surprised he would come up with this. “You’re meeting a brand new guy,” he says. He doesn’t want a ‘do-over’ he wants a ‘do-better’. Jack confesses that the ‘cookie date’ is about more than just a date. As they decorate, he tells her about a little boy he met in Afghanistan. He met a lot of kids with no family or future. Seeing how upset he is, she suggests he write it down. Although he’ll never forget what he saw, he could never turn it into a story. They rehash how he nearly cost Abby her life once. Former “General Hospital” scribe Michele Val Jean is coming to CBS. She has been hired as the latest addition to the writing team at “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Val Jean has lengthy experience writing for soaps, having also worked on “Santa Barbara.” Bradley Bell stated, “With her vast wealth of knowledge, experience and creativity, Michele is sure to be a significant addition to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful.’” Read the rest of this entry »
Lily finally finds out what Cane’s been up to, as Colin’s big plan results in the injury of a stranger. Genevieve hears that a woman was hurt in the explosion and assumes it’s her housekeeper. It’s later revealed that the housekeeper has a kitty tattoo on her leg. Ronan and Chance explain to Lily that Cane was helping them bust Colin for putting a hit on Genevieve and Gloria, which they find out about as well. It’s also revealed that Colin’s mixed up in the Middle Eastern drug trade. Lily is so grateful for Cane saving her life, she takes him back, and they kiss. With Jill and Chance looking on, Ronan confronts Colin, who’s still handcuffed to Jill’s bed, and lets him know they’ve finally nailed him. Jill and Genevieve commiserate over surviving Colin.
