Abby is shunted aside after being given an award so that Marlena can hog all of the attention. She’s all over trying to help salvage what remains of Jack’s unbalanced personality. With John going away, Jack becomes her pet project and he is a bit taken aback. With all of the chaos going on in their families, Daniel decides to back off a little when it comes to Jenn. Something in this generous act gives Hope a clue which she follows to discover that there is a mysterious link between Elvis and Alice. It’s Thanksgiving at Genevieve’s Estate, and Patty’s helping herself to the buffet… The Jack Buffet, that is. She makes the couple a special dinner and drugs them in the process, knocking Genevieve and Jack out cold. Patty then climbs aboard Jack on the couch. When Adam discovers what Patty’s up to, she demands that he help her.

Taking time off for the holidays.

Soap Opera Fan Blog has the details for this year’s 2011 Thanksgiving soap opera pre-emptions. Please take note…

Thursday November 24: ABC’s “General Hospital” and “One Life To Live” will air encore episodes. CBS’ “The Bold And The Beautiful” and “The Young And The Restless” will be pre-empted. However, look for “Y&R” to air an encore of “Billy’s New Year’s Eve” episode (December 31, 2009) at 12.30 PM eastern. A West Coast airing will not be seen due to the Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys NFL football game. NBC’s “Days Of Our Lives” will be pre-empted.

A new direction.

Soap Opera Digest has confirmed the rumor that Kimberly McCullough (Robin) will be leaving the series. It appears that the actress will be leaving the series behind to pursue directing.
