Roger Schroeder And Lacey Dyer Join Days Of Our Lives Writing Team.

Getting bigger.

To cope with all of the content “DOOL” is producing, the series has hired two more writers onto its staff. Roger Schroeder, a 55 year old from New Orleans began writing for the series on October 27. This is his first experience working in Daytime. Lacey Dyer joined the staff on October 20. The 25 year old previously worked on “Days” as a writer’s assistant from March 2, 2010-June 13, 2011.

My first thoughts is that at least he didn’t hire another Passions reject (or someone who was writing for or producing a show that has been CANCELLED), this time…. there’s a first time for everything I guess. I hope these 2 new ones are better than the last bunch he hired, and I hope they actually WATCH the show and know something about its history, more than the last 5 years…cause it’s pretty bad when the viewers know more history about the show than the writers or assistant producers.

Does this work? They need a better system for comments. When you click submit, you ought to either see the message on the board, or at the very least a popup telling you that your comment has been received and will be posted when it has been reviewed. With this system, people double post, because their comment does not show up, and there is no way for them to tell if the comment went through or not.

(You’re right. We’re working on it. Very sorry this is happening to most of you. Admin)

A perfect example is the Horton Square dedication/honor ceremony–what person, knowing Days history, would have tried to write that in when the Hortons were the fewest number in attendance, especially considering their history of the the show, that they were among the founding families of the show, and now all but nonexistent.

Posting comments here are about like that old Verizon commercial… the comments don’t show up, and you can’t tell if it went through or not so you repost, and still it doesn’t show up, and you don’t get any message as to whether it was received, and/or why it isn’t showing up yet…. “Can you hear me now?….”

“Well can you hear me now?…”

    Hello? Anyone there?

I love this show. I think it’s gotten even better over the past six months. With all the other soaps being taken off the air, they better keep DOOL on. It’s the original! I don’t know what I’d do without it.
